After four months of star-studded pre-wedding celebrations, Anant Ambani, 29, will tie the knot with Radhika Merchant, daughter of pharma tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant this weekend. The main wedding celebrations will take place from July 12 to July 14 at the Jio Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai.

During the pre-wedding events, a meticulously crafted menu by top chefs was served to guests, featuring a grand feast with over 2,500 dishes representing diverse cuisines. According to national media, the wedding menu boasts a special twist, with Nita Ambani personally selecting delicacies from the famous Kaashi Chaat Bhandaar during a recent visit to Varanasi. Guests can look forward to street food favourites like tikki, tomato chaat, palak chaat, chana kachori, and kulfi for dessert.

During her visit to Varanasi, Nita Ambani sought blessings at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and sampled popular food items at Kaashi Chaat Bhandaar – the video of which went viral online. Sources claim that she was so impressed with the flavours that she invited the shop owner, Rakesh Keshari, to serve these items at her son's wedding.
"Nita Ambani came to our chaat bhandaar, where she tasted tikki chaat, palak chaat, and kulfi falooda. She was very happy and said that the chaat of Banaras is very famous," Keshari told ANI.
The inclusion of Kaashi Chaat Bhandaar in the wedding menu is a testament to the charm and culinary excellence of this humble food stall, bringing a touch of Varanasi's street food magic to one of the most high-profile weddings of the year.
