Here are some healthy drinks that could help reduce cholesterol levels.

Tomato juice

The lycopene in tomato can improve lipid levels and helps reduce bad cholesterol. The niacin and fibre in it too can help in controlling cholesterol levels. Tomato juice could be consumed twice or thrice a week.

Green tea

Those who have high cholesterol should drink green tea. It is excellent to reduce obesity. The catechin and other antioxidants in green tea can reduce bad cholesterol. It is a healthy drink that could be included in your daily diet.

Anti-oxidants and flavonoids in green tea help rejuvenate and repair damaged cells in the body.

Cocoa drink

Cocoa is loaded with antioxidants like flavonoids that can reduce cholesterol. Mono-saturated fatty acids too are excellent for cholesterol patients. Dark chocolate which contains flavonoids could be mixed with hot milk to make the perfect hot chocolate.
