Singer Sujatha Mohan has come out with a video thanking her fans and well-wishers who made her 60th birthday special. Sujatha promised to better her singing as a return gift.
“I wanted to put out this video on my birthday thanking you all for your birthday wishes. But I couldn’t do it. I want to thank each and every one of you for making my day so special and memorable. I also want to thank my media friends. I will try to better my singing. That is my duty and responsibility towards all of you. I want to thank my music directors and lyricists for giving me so many beautiful songs. It is because I got the opportunity that I was able to sing and receive your love. I am also thankful to my colleagues and all those who supported me. I really love you all. Kisses,” said Sujatha in the video.
The playback singer also planted 60 saplings on her birthday.
In her Instagram post, she wrote: “Reversing deforestation is complicated; planting a sapling is simple. Overwhelmed, my heart is full, and glowing with gratitude is how I’m feeling. Thanks to Suchi and team for the wonderful thought of presenting 60 plants for my 60th birthday,” she added.
