Nayanthara reveals her biggest mistake, regrets doing this film

Nayanthara, who is one of the most sought after actresses in Tamil cinema, has been making waves in the industry through her myriad performances in recent years. She turned out to be the lady superstar and has survived the male-dominated Tamil film industry for nearly two decades

Having attained quite a feat at the box-office, she has been choosy when it comes to her acting preferances. Nayanthara made sure she picks diverse scripts and has developed the confidence of carrying the whole film on her shoulders.

But the journey wasn't easy. In a recent conversation with a radio channel, Nayans revealed her biggest regret while working in the film industry. Nayanthara regretted about doing a particular role she had done in her long film career.

According to the interview, Nayanthara considers as her biggest mistake as working in Ghajini alongside Suriya. She had essayed the role of Chitra- a medical student in the movie directed by AR Murugadoss. She mentioned that while signing the movie, she was not given the role she was promised and felt cheated. When the story was narrated to her, it was quite different from how it was seen in the movie, she told.

Interestingly, Nayanthara will be next seen in Murugadoss movie Darbar starring Rajinikanth. The film also stars Suniel Shetty, Shriya Saran, Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu, Thambi Ramaiya, Sriman, Prateik Babbar, Jatin Sarna, Nawab Shah and Dalip Tahil.The action thriller, bankrolled by Lyca Productions is slated to release on January 14, 2020.
