Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Blog express, an innovative tourism promotion programme, has contributed significantly in boosting tourism and thereby economy of the state, tourism minister Kadakampalli Surendran has said. 

Talking to reporters at the conclusion of the fourth edition of Kerala Blog express here Monday, he said the Tourism Department was confident that Blog Express would continue to spread the beauty of Kerala through various media to the world and a wider international audience.

"Over the years, Kerala Blog Express has gathered momentum and become one of the most popular destinations for travel bloggers to meet and experience India's most frequently visited state by tourists from across the globe', he said.
