Actor Prithviraj, who had travelled to Jordan for a film shoot, was held up there for three months after a lockdown was imposed in India as part of the COVID-19 containment measures. He is now back in Kerala. He is in quarantine for 14 days and recently shared a picture taken during a Europe trip with wife Supriya Menon in January this year.
Sharing the picture on Instagram, Prithviraj wrote: "Throwback to our cross-country drive in January 2020."
"En route Mont Blanc, taking a break from the long hours behind the wheel at the Switzerland/France border," he continues.
The actor also says that he had, "such different ideas about the new year ahead back then."
However, expressing optimism, Prithviraj feels that, "Hopefully, the world will come back to normal soon, and travellers and explorers will be back to doing what they love best!"
In response, Supriya commented she too missed those long drives. However, it is the absence of Prithviraj that she is more concerned about. Supriya had earlier posted that daughter Alli was on cloud nine after Prithviraj reached safely back in India.
During his stay in Jordan, the actor had been regularly posting all developments on social media for the benefit of his eager fans. Prithviraj was part of a 58-member film crew that had been stranded at Wadi Rum Desert in Jordan. They had arrived in Jordan for the shooting of the film 'Aadujeevitham.'
After an extended stay in Jordan, the team had finally returned to Kochi on May 22 and everyone is in quarantine away from their family members.
