Kochi: Dimitrios Diamantakos scored a brace as Kerala Blasters bounced back to draw 3-3 against Chennaiyin FC and extend their unbeaten record in the Indian Super League to five games.
Blasters remain on top of the points table with 17 points from 8 points.
Rahim Ali had given Chennaiyin a shock lead inside the first minute. Diamantakos equalised ten minutes later with a penalty won for a foul on Kwame Peprah.
But the visitors were back in front just two minutes later after Jordan Murray converted a penalty to silence his former club's home support.
Murray was again on the mark in the 24th minute as Chennaiyin raced to a 3-1 lead. However, Peprah gave the hosts a lifeline with a goal on 38 minutes.
Ali was substituted off at halftime with an injury.
The high-intensity game found a sixth goal when Diamantakos bagged his brace and ensured a point for the Blasters shortly before the hour.
