Kochi: Anjali Reema Dev, who along with No 18 owner Roy Vayalat and his partner Saiju Thankachan were booked in a POCSO case, has denied all allegations levelled against her.

"These details have been fabricated to ruin my reputation, to destroy me," Anjali said via a Facebook post.

Anjali, Vayalat, and Thankachan were recently charged under the punishing POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act following the complaint of a Kozhikode woman.

The woman alleged that Vayalat had molested her 17-year-old daughter during a DJ party at his hotel on November 20, 2021.

Police are also investigating a complaint that it was Anjali who paved the way for this abuse.

The complaint further states that Anjali regularly brought young girls to the Fort Kochi hotel and that she is involved in drug trafficking.

Anjali lures young girls by promising them work at her marketing consultancy in Kozhikode.

The models Ansi Kabeer and Anjana Shajan who were killed in a car crash on November 1 too were brought here, the complainant said.

They were brought to No 18 seven days before the day of the accident.

Girls working for her are preyed on often, said the complainant who has worked with them for two and a half months.

Once news of this emerged, several girls have also come forward with similar complaints.

Anjali, however, dismissed these as lies and alleged that the group is now working to throw her under the bus so that they could escape.

Anjali, Vayalat and Thankachan on Saturday moved the Kerala High Court seeking anticipatory bail in the POCSO case.

The plea is expected to be heard on Monday.

The Police has informed that they will wait for the court's decision before arresting the trio.
