Three more Keralites lost their lives to COVID-19, the deadly pandemic that has killed over two lakh people across the world, on Friday.
Pathanamthitta native Prakash Krishna and Malappuram native Musthafa, 62, died in Abu Dhabi on Friday. Over twenty Keralites have died in the United Arab Emirtes alone. Krishna's body will be buried here as per the WHO protocol.
Malappuram native Parengal Hassan, 56, death in Saudi Arabia on Monday was attributed to the virus after his samples, sent for testing, returned positive. Six Keralites have died in Saudi Arabia.
With this, the number of Keralites who have succumbed to the virus crossed 70. Nearly a half of these deaths have been reported from the Gulf countries while the United States accounts for over twenty five.
