Rice-potato balls

These spicy balls made from rice flour, potatoes and biryani rice is a tasty evening snack. Check out the recipe.

Ingredients
½ cup rice flour
½ tsp cumin seeds
¼ tsp salt
½ cup water (lukewarm water)
2 green chillies
1 tsp ginger - garlic paste
Curry leaves
½ cup bell pepper
½ cup carrot
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam powder
1 tsp amchoor or dried mango powder
2 potatoes (boiled and mashed)
Finely chopped coriander leaves
½ cup biryani rice

Preparation
Take the rice flour, cumin seeds, salt and lukewarm water in a bowl
Mix into soft dough
Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan
Sauté green chilies, green - garlic paste, curry leaves, bell pepper and carrot
Into it add turmeric powder, salt, garam masala and amchoor powder
Mix well
Now add the mashed potatoes and chopped coriander leaves
Give everything a good mix
After this mixture cools down, make small balls from it
Make balls from the rice flour dough too
Press these balls on your palm
Place the potato balls in the centre
Roll into perfect balls
Soak the biryani rice for half an hour
Strain the rice
Roll the balls in the biryani rice
Cook in steam for 15 - 20 minutes
Enjoy these spicy rice - potato balls with hot tea.
