Ingredients
2 apples
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted3 tbsp of apricot preserves

2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
6 tsp powdered sugar
Flour, for dusting

Preparation
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Core the apples and slice in half
Using a sharp knife, slice the apple into paper thin pieces
Spread lemon juice on the apple slice to prevent them from browning
Microwave them for 45 seconds or they turn until slightly tender
Take them out and cover the slices with a kitchen towel
Place the thawed pastry on a floured flat surface
Roll it with a rolling pin and cut the pastry into 6 equal slices
Apply 1 tsp apricot preserve mixture into one of the slices
Spread melted butter over the slices
Sprinkle cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder and 4 tsp sugar on them
Place the 7 to 9 apple slices on them, overlapping slightly, with the peel side facing out
Bake at 375 for 40 -45 minutes, or until golden
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve
