Follow this simple recipe to create a savoury stir fry that is ideal to go with steamed rice.

Ingredients
1 ½ cup water
2 cups jackfruit seeds, peeled and sliced into thin pieces
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt, as required
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
10 garlic cloves
10 shallots
2 sprigs of curry leaves
4 dried chillies
2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp pepper powder

Preparation
Boil water in a pan
Add salt and turmeric powder
Now add the jackfruit seeds, peeled and sliced into thin pieces
Cover with a lid and allow it to cook
Strain and set it aside
Heat coconut oil in a pan
Splutter the mustard seeds in it
Now crush the garlic cloves, shallots, curry leaves and dried chillies
Add this to the pan
Saute until the shallots turn translucent
Add garam masala
Mix well
Add the cooked jackfruit seeds to the pan
Give it a good mix
Saute until the slices become slightly crisp
