While the Bollywood industry is abuzz with reports of celeb couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, their wedding photos and dreamy ensembles are garnering all the attention.
Needless to say, Katrina Kaif’s engagement ring and her mangalsutra is the talk of town right now.
Katrina’s diamond-studded engagement ring is said to be a jewellery piece from Tiffany. Going by the wedding pics, the bride can be seen wearing a stunning diamond dust ring with a big sapphire attached to the middle of it. Well, fans point out that the ring reminds of the famous sapphire ring that was worn by Princess Diana on her engagement to Prince Charles. According to a report in News18.com, Katrina's engagement ring costs a whopping Rs. 7,40,708.
It doesn’t end there. Vicky Kaushal also seems to have gifted a Sabyasachi mangalsutra to his wife Katrina. The mangalsutra is from Sabyasachi's jewellery collection and one can see black and gold beads chain with two small drop-down diamonds.
Sharing VicKat's wedding pics, Sabyasachi shared jewellery details, however, it did not mention the specifics of the mangalsutra. "The lehenga is paired with bespoke bridal jewellery of uncut diamonds in 22k gold detailed with hand strung pearls from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery," the post from the Sabyasachi official page reads.
Both Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal wore Sabyasachi outfits for their big day. The designer shared the details about Vickat's wedding outfits and wrote, "The bride Katrina Kaif @katrinakaif wears a classic Sabyasachi red bridal lehenga in handwoven matka silk with fine tilla work and meticulously embroidered revival zardozi borders in velvet. In homage to the groom’s Punjabi roots, her veil is custom-trimmed with handmade kiran in hand-beaten silver electroplated in gold."
Sharing details about Vicky Kaushal's wedding outfit, the ace designer wrote, "The groom Vicky Kaushal @vickykaushal09 wears an ivory silk sherwani with intricate marori embroidery and iconic Sabyasachi handcrafted gold plated Bengal Tiger buttons, with a silk kurta and churidar. The shawl is a tussar georgette with a zari marori embroidered with pallu and borders."
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding was a close-knit affair at Rajasthan’s Six Senses Fort Barwara, Sawai Madhopur district, with family and close friends in attendance. The couple took the ‘7 pheras’ on Thursday afternoon. Katrina Kaif, 38, and Vicky Kaushal, 33, had been dating for about two years.
