Tollywood actress Sri Reddy has managed to stay in the limelight by frequently airing lurid tales from the industry. In an exclusive interview with Manorama News, the actress revealed that she might have to kill herself if she didn't get justice.
An emotional Sri Reddy said, “I am a victim. Except crying I am not able to get justice. People call me prostitute and it's hurting to hear such things. How will my family will ever take it. I feel like committing suicide.”
Reddy had named prominent members of both Telugu and Tamil cinema of promising her work in films in exchange of sexual favours.
She further revealed that actor Nani was the one who abused her the most. “I am a single lady. All I did was to fight against casting couch. There are many girls out there in a situation similar to mine. When a Malayalam actress was attacked the entire industry was with her. But here I am all alone. I don't even have parents behind me”, she said.
Earlier, Sri Reddy had raised a complaint at Nadigar Sangam (Tamil actors' union) regarding the casting couch row. Actor Vishal, who is the general secretary of Nadigar Sangam, had then asked the actress to come forward with evidence. He had even criticised her and said she picked her targets at random. Actor Karthi, treasurer of the association, had advised the actress to seek legal help.
