Malappuram: Nilambur MLA PV Anvar released his complaint against the Chief Minister's political secretary P Sasi through his Facebook page on Tuesday. The rebel LDF MLA raised serious allegations against Sasi in his complaint submitted before CPM state secretary MV Govindan. He accused Sasi of embezzling the gold smuggled via Kozhikode International Airport through police. He also accused Sasi of collecting phone numbers of some women who visited the CM's office and misbehaving with them over the phone. In his nine-page-long complaint, he also listed several incidents in which he faced bad experiences from the police.

Minutes after Anvar released the complaint, P Sasi told media that the he has nothing to comment other than the response made by Chief Minister and CPM.

Exposing Sasi's illegal activities, Anvar claimed that Sasi used to receive crores acting as a middleman in the disputes between big businessmen in the state.  The MLA also listed several cases including Swami Sandeepananda Giri's Ashram arson case and solar case to prove his corruption allegations against Sasi.

In the complaint, Anvar claimed that ADGP Ajith Kumar helped YouTuber Shajan Skariah to evade arrest in a case related to cyber terrorism. He alleged that the ADGP recieved a bribe of Rs 2 crore from Skariah's family. Anvar argued that P Sasi did not initiate action against the ADGP even after CM and he sought his attention to the matter. Intensifying his attack against Ajithkumar, Anvar described how the senior police official convinced the Solar case complainant to seek a CBI probe into the case and settled the case for the accused. He also questioned Sasi's lapses in taking action against the police officials who defamed CPM by framing the party workers in the Ashram arson case. Taking a dig at the opposition, Anvar alleged that opposition leader VD Satheesan received Rs 150 crore from multinational companies to sabotage the K-Rail project. But the vigilance was not ready to probe into his complaint despite the court issuing an order for a probe. Anvar alleged that CM's political secretary had given the nod to vigilance to file a report dismissing his allegations against the opposition leader. Exposing Sasi's revengeful act, Anvar also listed incidents including lapses of police in a probe into a robbery in his park and a case against him over his speech against Rahul Gandhi. In the complaint to CPM state secretary, Anvar said that allowing Sasi in the post of CM”s political secretary would defame the party and the CM.

Recently, CPM has disowned Anvar after getting irked by his allegations against Sasi and criticism against the Chief Minister.  Following this, the MLA declared that he would expose the truth before the public and release a copy of his complaint to the CPM secretary. Anvar has been holding public meetings in Malappuram to give an explanation over his revelations against the police and Sasi.
