Thiruvananthapuram: As rain receded across Kerala, especially in the northern districts, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has revised its forecast for Thursday. Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod are under an orange alert, whereas a yellow alert has been issued for Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad and Malappuram.

Additionally, squally weather with wind speeds reaching 35 km/h to 45 km/h, gusting to 55 km/h, is likely to prevail along the North Kerala coast.
