Thrissur: Jyothis Mohan, IRS, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Kochi, inaugurated the Commerce Association of Prajyoti Niketan College, Pudukad, in Kerala's Thrissur district, on Monday. Drawing upon his wisdom and experience, he spoke of the challenges faced by an aspirant attending the UPSC examination and the growing need for mental fortitude and self-motivation in this era.
Dr Alan Lukose, Head of the Department, extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries, followed by the Vice Principal Dr Mary Paul Chakkachamparambil, who delivered the Presidential address. This was followed by the Felicitation, led by Aksa Daison, College Union Chairperson, and Swathy Hariharan, Commerce Association Secretary. Dr Renjith R, the Association Director, delivered the vote of thanks.

The chief guest's friendly demeanour and his ability to connect with the students made the talk a joyous and memorable experience for all the attendees.
This session was followed by a short Q&A session, which gave the students an opportunity to learn more about the challenges faced in the UPSC sector. They also obtained valuable insights into the necessity of being proactive and the importance of compartmentalizing one’s life into discrete areas, ensuring that one area of interest does not interfere with another.
“The roughest seas forge the bravest sailors” was a statement that stood out, inspiring and galvanizing the aspiring students present.
