Pudukad: The NSS units of Prajyoti Niketan College at Pudukad in Kerala's Thrissur recently organized a blood donation program in partnership with the IMA Blood Bank and Blood Donors Kerala.
The camp received tremendous involvement from both staff and students, making it a resounding success. The event kick-started with Dr Binoj being the first to donate blood, setting a positive tone for the day. By the end of the day, 42 units of blood were collected, showcasing the commitment and enthusiasm of the participants.
Five medical experts, as well as the college's NSS program officers, oversaw the event. The principal, Dr Binu P. Chacko, also actively supported the initiative by participating as a donor. Dr. Jinto James and Dr Tresa Peter, NSS Program Officers, and student coordinators Swathy Harilal and Sahal V S, worked together to ensure that the camp ran smoothly.
