Kozhikode: The Faizal and Shabana Foundation, renowned for transforming the Government Vocational Higher Secondary School For Girls, Nadakkavu, in Kozhikode into an institution of international standards, is now extending its impactful initiatives to Kashmir.

In a landmark move, the Foundation has partnered with the Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Kothi Bagh, Srinagar, marking the beginning of its national operations. This collaboration is formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding with the Jammu and Kashmir administration, entrusting the Foundation with the holistic development of the institution.

Launched with the mission "Giving to Create Impact," the Faizal and Shabana Foundation aims to revolutionize the country’s education sector by providing quality education to girl children. Building on its successful intervention at the Nadakkavu Government Girls School in 2013, the Foundation seeks to replicate this model, modernizing all government schools across the state and ushering in a new era of educational excellence.

The inaugural function in Srinagar saw the presence of esteemed officials, including Tassaduq Hussain Mir, Director of the Kashmir School of Education. Key figures from the Foundation, such as Faizal Kottikollon, Chairman of KEF Holdings and Co-founder and Director of the Faizal and Shabana Foundation, Shabana Faizal, Vice Chairperson of KEF Holdings and Founder Director of the Faizal and Shabana Foundation, and Zakh Faizal, Founder of Peak Mobility, also graced the event.
