In the first session of the National Engineering Entrance exam, 14 students showed 100 percentile scores. Among this except for Sneha Parikh, the rest are all boys. Thomas Biju was the top scorer from Kerala (99.993). From Lakshadweep, MK Muhammad Suhail came first (80.738).
The first session of JEE Main was conducted by the National Testing Agency last month between the 24th and 30th. Around 7.69 lakh candidates appeared for the examination. Out of the 14 students who scored cent percentile marks, four students hailed from Telangana, and 3 belonged to Andhra. 2,21,719 girls wrote the exam. Out of which 7 students scored 99.99 percentile score and two scored 99.98 percentile.
The second session will be conducted from July 21st to 30th. The registrations have reopened. You can avail this opportunity till 11 pm tonight. The final rank list will be published only after the results of the two sessions are announced. The ones who score well in the main exam will get an opportunity to write in the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced exam which helps in IIT admissions. The registrations for this will be from Aug 7th to 11th. The JEE advance examination is on August 28th.
