New Delhi: The results of the first terminal examinations for class 10 and 12 students of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) are likely to get further delayed.
The authorities said that the results are getting delayed as the third wave of COVID-19 has affected the functioning of the regional offices of the board.
However, they expressed hope that the board would be able to publish the results in the first week of February.
The authorities also dismissed a notice, in the name of CBSE, that has been doing the rounds on the social media as fake. The notice falsely stated that the results would be published this week.
Meanwhile, the CBSE authorities noted that the second-term exams would be held as scheduled and that the dates would be decided soon. The model questions were published a few days ago.
