New Delhi: The wait to know the schedule of the all-important Class 10 and 12 final-year exams held by the Central Board of Secondary Education
will be over in a few days. The CBSE is set to announce the final-year examination schedule on February 2, 2021, on its official website cbse.gov.in. This was announced by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ in a live interaction held with the Presidents and Secretaries of CBSE Sahodaya Schools on Thursday.
On December 31, 2020, the minister had announced the dates of the CBSE final-year exams or board exams for the year 2021. Examinations for Classes 10 and 12 will begin on May 4 and will continue till June 10, 2021. The practical exams will begin on March 1, 2021.
The CBSE examination was deferred for this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Usually, they are held in February or March.
As announced earlier the CBSE final-year examinations will be held in the pen-and-paper mode.
The Education Minister also discussed the role of the National Education Policy (NEP) and its provisions during the live interaction on Thursday.
