Thiruvananthapuram: The government has made changes in the BSc Nursing /paramedical degree admission process yet again.
The decision to extend nursing admissions has been withdrawn in the wake of protests by the college management and students.
The first stage allotment has been published on the website www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in. The order issued in connection with the admission amid the process had created a lot of confusion.
The health department had issued the order revising and fixing the allotment dates citing that the Nursing Council had allowed relaxation in the admissions. LBS director Dr A Abdul Rahman informed that they decided to revert to the old allotment system in consultation with the government following the intensification of the agitation. The previous order of the health department would be amended and issued again, he said.
The LBS director said the second allotment would be done on November 12. The details of which can be had from 0471-2560 363, 364.
Fee should be remitted before November 6
The students who received admission in the first allotment should remit their fee through online or via Federal Bank branch by 5 pm on November 6. If the options of those who have remitted fees are not to be considered for further allotments, then their names should be removed from the option list.
However, such candidates can give options for the newly included colleges. Those who do not remit fee will lose allotment and their option will not be considered for further allotment. Those remitting the feel need not take admission in the colleges.
