Karyavattom: A cultural forum for teachers was organised in association with the Kerala University Teachers Organisation (KUTO) Friday. Prominent music director M Jayachandran inaugurated the forum University of Kerala Palayam Campus.
The forum will be a new platform to showcase the cultural skills and artistic talents of University teaching staff.
The inauguration was marked by the rendering of 'Krishna nee begane' at the tree shade. Great singer M Jayachandran sung two songs and also appreciated the effort.
Dr S Prema, Professor, Department of linguistics presided over the function.
"The forum aims to publish an e-magazine named 'Hash Kichadi' in which teachers and their kids can draw pictures, send trolls, photographs, stories anything", says Dr Achuthsankar S Nair, HoD, Department of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics.
