Watch how this fisherman hooks a drone

In the video, the people fishing on the pier were seen annoyed at the sight of the drone buzzing over them

For fishing fanatics, it is a perfect cast and for technocrats, it is the most outrageous act — both the communities are waging a war of words on the Internet over the fisherman hooking a drone with one precise flick on the Pacific Beach pier in San Diego.

Tice Ledbetter, who was filming the pier and the emerald green waves, created a special protest video of the whole act and uploaded it on YouTube only to become a villain of his own movie. The video in which he termed the fisherman a complete j@#k and a@#@#le, however, evoked mixed response and it is going viral on the video sharing site.

In the video, the people fishing on the pier were seen annoyed at the sight of the drone buzzing over them while they were enjoying a quiet afternoon — a point that is working against Ledbetter all the while having shutterbugs lined up in his support. One of the comments on Ledbetter's video by a user Van Carney read: “The only a@#@#le is the Drone Operator. Clue up j@#k -- People don't want you buzzing around filming them.”

Ledbetter, since then, has put up a pointer on his protest video on the YouTube channel of Tice Cinematic Media saying that was what he was shooting, but it isn't helping him much to rebuild his lost reputation.
