She was brutally trolled when she played Gunda Binu in Shaji Kailas's 'Kaapa'. Many said she did not have the stature to carry off such characters. However, her action sequences in 'Kalki' were well-appreciated.

In a recent interview, the actor acknowledged that her character in 'Kaapa' was not accepted. However, she said that does not dissuade her from trying out such different characters.
