'Manjummel Boys' just like the title has a mix of actors who have proved their range as artists in different genres. Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Deepak Parambol and Ganapathi are part of the cast.
Sushin Shyam's music plays an important part in the movie. The hit composer, during his interview with a leading radio station in Kerala, had revealed that he made a unique instrument to create the film's background score.
Manjummel Boys revolves around a gang on a tour to the Guna Caves. The caves, which was discovered in the 1800s, gained its name after the Kamal Haasan film 'Gunaa' hit theatres in 1992. Almost 40 per cent of 'Gunaa' was shot in the caves, earlier known as 'Devil's Kitchen'.
The film is based on a real life incident that took place a few years ago. A young man travelling from Kerala gets trapped in the cave while exploring the area with his friends.
