The recently launched Delhi - Patna Vande Bharat service, which was to operate till November 6 as a Diwali special, is now extended for two more weeks. The 02252/02251 train, launched on October 30, will run till November 21. The upcoming trips from Delhi to Pune are November 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17 and 20. The Pune to Delhi trips will be on November 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18 and 21. The train, which covers 1,000 km in 11.35 hours, is the second fastest train on the route after the New Delhi - Rajendra Nagar Terminal Tejas Rajdhani Express, which reaches the destination five minutes faster.
Delhi - Patna Vande Bharat stoppages
The train stops at five stations, which are Kanpur Central (Uttar Pradesh), Prayagraj Junction (Uttar Pradesh), DD Upadhyaya Junction (Uttar Pradesh), Buxar (Bihar), and Ara Junction (Bihar). The train has 8 car coaches and two types of accommodations - the AC Chair Car costs Rs 2,575 and the Executive Chair Car charges Rs 4,655. The train departs from New Delhi at 8:25 am to reach Patna Junction at 8 pm. When it departs from Patna Junction the next day, the starting time is 7 am, and the arrival time at Delhi is 7.30 pm. The services are on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays in the Delhi - Patna stretch, and on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays on the Patna - Delhi route.
