Work and holiday visas are divided into two subclasses: 417 and 462. Subclass 417 work and holiday visas are available to individuals from 19 countries: Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan, and the UK.
Subclass 462 work and holiday visas are available to individuals from 28 countries: Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, the United States, Uruguay, and Vietnam.
