2) Avoid non-essential travel to Iran.

Other pointers to remember
1) Many airlines are changing schedules, rerouting flights, and even cancelling services whenever necessary, prioritising safety. Be updated on airline alerts so that your travel plans are not disrupted.
2) Airfares in the region have also surged, and industry experts predict further increases in ticket prices. Plan your journeys keeping this factor in mind.
3) A week ago, the Indian Embassy in Lebanon's Beirut issued an advisory for Indian nationals in the region, urging them to exercise caution, restrict movements, and remain in contact with the Indian Embassy. It also urged nationals against travelling to the country until further notice.
