New Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express to start service from July 31

Kochi: The Southern Railways has announced that special Vande Bharat from Ernakulam to Bengaluru will start service from July 31. The tri-weekly train will depart from Ernakulam at 12:50 pm on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. It will have stops in Thrissur, Palakkad, Podanur, Tirupur, Erode and Salem. This is the third Vande Bharat Express in Kerala.

The train will arrive Bengaluru Cantonment at 10 pm. The return train will depart at 5.30 am and reach Ernakulam at 2.20 pm on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Mondays. At present, the railways has planned to continue the service till August 26. But there are possibilities to make the service permanent.
