Kottayam: The third edition of the KEG Tour of Thekkady concluded on February 10, 2024, after an exhilarating race through the scenic routes of the Kottayam and Idukki districts.
Featuring approximately 140 cyclists, including 10 women, the event kicked off with great enthusiasm from Kottayam on Saturday morning. Riders from across India and abroad participated in the 160-km race, which took them through picturesque landscapes, including coffee plantations, dams, and forests, along with iconic shooting locations of various movies.

Team Category: 1st - CBR Bangalore, 2nd - Snippet Commerce Turbo, 3rd - Snippet Commerce Velocity.
Men Elite Category: 1st - Salvin V J, 2nd - Pranay S Nair, 3rd - John. K. Sunny.
Men Masters category: 1st - Sudhi Chandran, 2nd - Gopalakrishnan Perumal, 3rd - Ragesh R Nair.
Womens Category: 1st - Alanis Lilly Cubeleo, 2nd - Athulya K Sudhakaran, 3rd - Naazia Farhein.

The highlight of the race was Salvin V J's remarkable performance, finishing the challenging 145-km stretch from Kottayam to Anakkara in an impressive time of 5 hours and 18 minutes.

Throughout the event, cyclists were supported by a dedicated team providing hydration, medical assistance, and repairs whenever necessary, ensuring a smooth and safe race experience for all participants.
Organised by the Kottayam KEG Bikers, the Tour of Thekkady has once again proven to be a thrilling and unforgettable experience for cyclists and spectators alike.
