A travel influencer recently revealed a cheat code on TikTok on how to book low-priced airline tickets on Google Flights. The British influencer, named 'Around the Atlas,' shared the video of the process and it garnered over 4 million views in a day. The video begins with the question, 'Did I just unlock a cheat code or did everyone know about this?'
'Around the Atlas goes on to explain: First, go to Google and search for 'Google Flights.' On the Google Flights website, type in your starting location (don't give any destination). Then instead type 'anywhere' in the destination field. Leave the departure and return dates blank, then click on the 'explore' button.
On her screen, she showed a range of destinations with very low airfares. A few of the examples are a return flight from London to Barcelona for just £26 ($31) and £54 ($65) to Budapest. There are also long-haul flights to the US, like a £336 ($408) fare to New York. A netizen commented, "We got a flight to Spain for £22 and then on to Morocco for £11, there's so many ways to do it cheap." Another said, "I could fly back and forth to Europe a couple of times for less than it cost to get a train to London."
