Pune: The Indian Railway will run two special Vande Bharat trains for cricket fans for the India - Pakistan World Cup match, scheduled at 2 pm on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. As per reports, such an inter-city train scheduled for a sports event is a first in Western Railway's history. The details of the Mumbai - Ahmedabad trains will be announced soon. 

As per available reports, a fully air-conditioned Vande Bharat train will depart from Mumbai at 10 pm on October 13, and it will reach Ahmedabad by 6 am. Another will leave Mumbai early morning on the match day and reach Ahmedabad just in time for the match.
