Air India recently shared the first look of their planes after changing the logo and livery. The airline took to X to share the photos of its A350 plane, at a paint shop in France's Toulouse. In August, the carrier had revealed its new logo, which retains the original red-white combination, with a dash of purple as the addition. The new planes will arrive in India in winter.
The airline also recently discontinued its old app on October 4 and introduced a new one with advanced features.
'Here's the first look of the majestic A350 in our new livery at the paint shop in Toulouse,' said the post on X. 'The Vista' is the new logo and the carrier spent around 400 million dollars to refurbish its fleet. As per reports, the logo is inspired by the peak of the gold window frame and travellers will get to see it from December this year.
While many customers were thrilled with the new look of the airline, they also requested them to focus more on customer service. "You guys got some really old beat-up and worn-out planes in the air. The flight crews were very nice, but the worn-out seats hurt my back," said a customer. Some of the customers also said that they have to adjust themselves now to the new look of the livery. "It looks beautiful, only hoping that it remains maintained," said another follower of the handle.
