Dubai: The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security instructs that the documents that are submitted for availing UAE's Golden Visa should be accurate and faultless.
The application would be cancelled within thirty days from the date of application if the documents are found to be incomplete or ambiguous.
The authority informed that the application would be rejected if the applicants aren’t able to rectify the mistakes at least thrice. In such instances, only the amount paid for issuing the visa would be refunded. An expert committee appointed by the government would be examining the documents of the persons who have proved their mettle in various fields, before issuing the golden visa.
Changes could be introduced in the criteria or the guidelines for allowing visas without any warning or prior information. The applicant could avail of the visa without any delay if the documents are perfect. Meanwhile, you could apply for the golden visa via its website, WhatsApp or directly at the happiness centres.
The applicant would get a message on their registered mobile phone number when the fee is paid. Besides, he/she would receive messages and updates at each stage of processing. The criteria for applying for a golden visa in each field are different.
Guidelines for various fields
Investor visa
The main document to be submitted for this category is a certificate from an approved investment fund in the country. The applicant should have an investment of at least 2 million dirhams in the UAE; else, he/she should possess a valid trade license issued by a commercial entity or an industry.
The contract that proves the participation of the applicant in the inception of the company should be submitted. Besides, the company should have a capital of at least 2 million dirhams. Or, the applicant should have an investment of this amount in the said company. A document from the federal tax authority proving that the applicant pays an annual income tax of at least 2.5 thousand dirhams to the UAE government too would be considered.
Real estate visa
The registration documents issued by the real estate authorities in the Emirate is the primary document that needed to be submitted. The applicant needs to prove that he/she is the owner of real estate property worth 2 million dirhams or above. The property shouldn’t be pledged against bank loans.
Industry visa
The documents issued by an approved auditor should be submitted. The applicant should prove that he/she is the owner of an industry worth at least five hundred thousand dirhams.
Health visa
Certificates of merit or service issued by any medical centres or social services centres approved by the Ministry of Health would be considered as valid documents. The recommendation of the Emirates Scientists Council too would be considered.
Art and cultural visa
A letter of recommendation from the Dubai Ministry of Culture is required.
Executives
The salary certificate which proves that the applicant draws a monthly salary of not less than fifty thousand dirhams should be submitted.
Sports visa
Certificates issued by the sports council should be submitted along with the application.
Student visa
Students and talented personalities in the academic field need to submit the recognition certificate and other related documents issued by the local governments.
