Attention tourists! Several trains, flights, ferry services cancelled, tourist spots closed due to 'Biparjoy'

Extremely severe cyclonic storm Biparjoy is expected to touch Gujarat on June 15 and officials are busy taking safety and evacuation steps. Meanwhile, several train, flight, and ferry services are being cancelled due to the storm and travellers' plans are likely to be hit. The storm is likely to enter Southwest Rajasthan on June 16. Mumbai airport runway was closed on Monday and it hasn't updated yet on when the operations will resume fully.
Trains cancelled
As of now, around 67 trains are reportedly cancelled as a precautionary measure by the Western Railway. Reportedly, some of the cancelled trains are 09480 OKHA-RJT, 09479 RJT-OKHA, 22969 OKHA-BSBS, 09524 DEE-OKHA, 09523 OKHA-DEE, and 09521 RJT-VRL. Certain trains have been short-terminated by the Western Railways too and the North Western Railways has also cancelled and partially certain trains. Here are some of the changes in schedules.
Train number 19574: Jaipur-Okha Express to start from Jaipur on June 13 and terminate at Rajkot, Gujarat. No service from Rajkot to Okha.
Train number 20937: Porbandar-Delhi Sarai Express to start from Rajkot instead of Porbandar on June 13. It won't run between Porbandar and Rajkot.
Train number 14321: Bareilly-Bhuj Express, which started from Bareilly on June 12 will run only till Palanpur. It is cancelled between Palanpur and Bhuj.
Train number 14311: Bareilly-Bhuj Express will start from Bareilly on June 13 and will run only till Chandlodiya. It will be cancelled between Chandlodiya and Bhuj.
Train number 14312: Bhuj-Bareilly Express will start from Chandlodiya on June 13 instead of Bhuj. It's suspended between Bhuj and Chandlodiya.
Train number 14322: Bhuj-Bareilly Express to start from Palanpur instead of Bhuj on June 15. It's suspended between Bhuj and Palanpur.
Train number 19573: Okha-Jaipur Express to start from Rajkot instead of Okha. It's suspended between Okha and Rajkot.
Train number 19575: Okha-Nathdwara Express to start from Hapa on June 14. It's suspended between Okha and Hapa.
Tourist spots closed
Many popular tourist spots like the Kutch earthquake memorial in Gujarat named Smrutivan, Narayan Sarovar, Koteshwar temple, zoos, beaches, museums and gardens in the area will remain closed. There are also prohibitory orders banning people from gathering near beaches and seashores.
Officials say that beach activities are closed in Goa and lifeguards have also placed red flags in potentially dangerous spots. Tourist spots in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha can also be cyclone-prone and thus, remain closed.
Ferry services
In Surat and Bhavnagar of Gujarat where many commuters and tourists avail of the Ro-Ro ferry services, they have been suspended between Hazira and Ghogha. The travellers will have to depend on road travel for the time being. People who booked in advance will get a refund of the fare.
