This is not a photoshop trick. A new statue, a replica of the famed Christ the Redeemer, overlooking the Arabian sea, at the Vizhinjam harbor, was recently consecrated.

The 33-ft tall statue has a total width of 33 ft, factoring in the span of the outstretched arms. From the ground, the statue stands at a height of 90 ft. It took two years to build the statue and the chappel housing it, which are made of concrete.
Major Archbishop M. Soosa Pakiam of the Latin archdiocese of Thiruvananthapuram consecrated the statue at a Holy Mass held Sunday evening.
