Here's why you should head to Karapuzha this weekend

Are you one of those people who are always on the look out for a new place to explore? Here's one new place for you. There has been an overwhelming number of tourists swarming in to enjoy the beautiful sights of Karappuzha in Wayanad, which was recently opened for visitors after the completion of the first phase of its tourism project.

It is estimated that ticket sales have raked in Rs 25,800 from June 11. It is also estimated that around 8,817 tourists visited the place during this period.

The weekends see a heavy rush despite the rainy weather. There was a huge rush during Eid and other holidays too.

The newly opened garden and children's park is a crowd puller and a huge hit with the family crowd. The monsoon does not hamper the droves of visitors here. The only glitch to the project is the bad roads from Ambalavayal.
