The Mud House at Marayur welcomes visitors to spend the nights in a picturesque valley where mist prevails all the time. Moreover, the spot is surrounded by noted places of interest such as Chinnar wildlife sanctuary, Anamalai tiger reserve, Anamudishola national park and Eravikulam national park.

At Mud House, a visitor would be greeted by a beautiful garden and the small houses on the premises which are built in an eco-friendly manner. The interiors too are tastefully done and each house has a furnished kitchen, flat-screen television and a guest area with sofa. Interestingly, the washrooms are designed in such a way that the sky is visible above.
Yet another attraction of Mud House is the cuisine. There are a large number of admirers for the traditional dishes served at the getaway.
There are several interesting sights right next to Mud House but hiring a bicycle or car would be more rewarding. While the Anamudi peak is 25 km away, the Munnar Tea Museum is 35 km from the property.
Anamudishola is maintained by the Munnar division of the Kerala Forest Department. The division also protects popular tourist attractions such as Mathikettanshola, Eravikulam national park, Pambadumchola, Chinnar wildlife sanctuary and Kurinjimala reserve. Mud House's attraction is that the resort is close to all these major tourist spots.
