Indian badminton player PV Sindhu got married to Hyderabad-based businessman Venkatta Datta Sai in Udaipur today. Their wedding venue, the luxurious and exclusive Raffles Udaipur Resort is the talk of the town now as the picturesque spot gave a homely hue to their special day, despite being a five-star spot. The 21-acre retreat is the first property of the French ultra-luxury brand Raffles Hotels and Resorts, which also has iconic hotels like Singapore's Raffles Hotel as part of it. Surrounded by the Udai Sagar Lake and overlooking the Aravalli Hills, it boasts rich flora and fauna.
The regal accommodation with private plunge pools, chosen artworks, manicured lawns, and more comes at a minimum of Rs 75,000 to Rs 1,00000, as per reports, for a night! The property apparently combines European Palladian architecture with Rajput-Mughal influences, featuring luxurious rooms and suites, gourmet dining options, a spa, and exclusive features such as the Raffles Long Bar and Writers Bar. Last year, cricketer Hardik Pandya and his now ex-wife Natasa Stankovic also renewed their wedding vows at the same location.
