The little Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan is known for taking 'happiness' seriously. The country, that's known for functioning based on its philosophy of Gross National Happiness, recently had a solo happy visitor from India - Andrea Jeremiah.
The Tamil singer-actress, who earned Malayali's love through movies like Annayum Rasoolum, has been sharing some incredible clicks from her recent trip to Bhutan. Her latest social media post is a photo of 'Punakha Dzong' aka fort, which is famed for being the second oldest and largest fort in the country. The beautiful location is situated between the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu river in the Punakha Valley. Andrea said in her post, "It is surrounded by jacaranda blossoms and is quite a sight to behold.'
Earlier, she had also shared a picture wearing the traditional Bhutanese dress, captioning it, 'In another life.' A while ago, actress Deepika Padukone had also shared some beautiful pictures from her trip to Bhutan.
It's the best time to visit Bhutan
The spring season in Bhutan is between the months of March and May and this is considered the right time to check out the country. It's also known as the 'rhododendron' season as this flower fills the country during these months.
This is also apparently the month in which you get the best photographs in the country. Some of the best sights in the country this season are Punakha Dzong, the vallye town of Paro, the country's capital Thimpu, snow-capped mountain peaks of Haa Valley and the Dochu La mountain pass.
