Let us listen to the travel reports of Anjali Ameer who learned the life’s ways through her journeys.

From the hectic shooting schedules, her escape route has been through journeys. These journeys wipe out all the tensions and calm the mind. The freshness is thus regained for work. That is her methodology. Though travelling is her passion, she does not like staying away from the family for long. Most often she tries to reach home within two or three days. When the professional commitments wear her out, she travels to ventilate. Wayanad is a favourite destination. It is easy to get back home from there. She loves travelling across the mountain passes, especially of Wayanad. This may be owing to her love for the place. When she descends to the plains across the mountain passes, the feeling she gets is akin to a burden off her shoulders.

India is the place to explore

She loves domestic Indian tours rather than foreign tours. She has travelled across most places in India. Her most favourite Indian destinations are Punjab, Kashmir and Delhi. The climate and the food in these places are really tempting. She is a foodie. Whereever she goes, she tries to get the taste of the local flavours. In Punjab, one can get mouth-watering soups. They make soup even out of the water used for boiling rice.

There is another reason why Anjali prefers domestic tours to international tours. The domestic tours are much more economical. There are plenty of homestays and hotels available in India which are cheap and safe.

She does not embark on long journeys alone. She will be accompanied by friends. That certainly increases the thrill of the journey. Such journeys are fun-filled.

During the journey to Punjab, she met an old friend named Rajesh. She could not initially recognize him. He was working in CRPF there. He recognized her instantly. He told her that he had watched her on TV etc. and had read articles on her. She was meeting him after a long time. It was such a joy for her to meet him.

She has travelled abroad too

Since she has a mindset to travel cheap, she travels often to foreign destinations that are cheaper and affordable. She has travelled to Malaysia and Thailand including Pattaya. The cuisine and the way people dressed there interested her. Thailand is a paradise of dreams. Bangkok is an unavoidable part of any journey to Thailand. Anjali went there too. Bangkok is an excellent place for shopping. Garments, bags, footwear of excellent quality are available at comparatively cheaper rates in Bangkok.

She liked Malaysia too. It is a foreign destination which can be toured quite economically if you take care on the spending. Direct flights can be availed from Kochi to Kuala Lumpur. The one way ticket will cost less than Rs 10000. The destination can be reached in less than five hours. The Visa processing is simple and easy.

There are shopping malls in Malaysia too. One of the biggest attractions there is the Petronas Towers. The night-view of the illuminated Petronas Towers is not one to be missed. Besides Malaysia, Dubai and Qatar had impressed Anjali.

Kerala in and out

Anjali Ameer has travelled extensively in Kerala. She loved Kannur, Wayanad, Thiruvananthapuram etc. Kerala is a beautiful place to see but her Munnar journey has not yet materialized. She wants to cover that and more, time and opportunities permitting.

Much like every traveller, she also has a dreamland. One of these dreams involves Australia. She is waiting for the suitable opportunity.
