An Indian team comprising Kerala's Sidhartha Babu bagged bronze in the World Shooting Para Sports World Cup in New Delhi on Thursday.

Besides Sidhartha, Avani Lekhara and Deepak Saini were part of the mixed 50m rifle-prone SH1 team event. Sidhartha shot 616.4 in qualification.

He had already secured a spot in the Paris Paralympics to be held later this year. A record gold at the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou last October had helped Sidhartha seal the Paralympics spot.

The native of Thiruvananthapuram is the only Keralite shooter to have earned qualification to the Paralympics.
