Kerala Blasters' outgoing head coach, Mikael Stahre, has thanked the supporters and said he wants to donate his club apparel.
"I will be 'donating' my KBFC clothes to you," said Stahre in an Instagram story. The Swede had booked a flight out of Kochi within hours of the club making his departure official. Stahre said he would like to say goodbye to fans who reached the airport to see him off.
"Thank you for the time I've spent in your fantastic club! The support from you is indescribable, and the atmosphere at the stadium is absolutely world-class," Stahre posted.
Stahre signed up for the ISL side in May this year, replacing Ivan Vukomanovic. In his seven-month tenure, the Blasters scored in their first nine league matches, a club record. Stahre was the Blasters' ninth full-time coach and 13th overall, including caretakers and interim, to manage the ISL side since its inception in 2014.
