Thrissur Magic's poor run in Super League Kerala continued on Friday with a 2-0 defeat to Thiruvananthapuram Kombans on a water-logged pitch in Manjeri.

Goalkeeper Michel Santos made a brilliant save to deny Alex Dos Santos from the penalty spot in first-half injury time after Autemar scored from the spot to put the Kombans ahead in the 38th minute.
The Kombans found a second goal in added time when substitute Shihad lobbed into the far corner to beat Pratheesh.

For the Kombans, this was only the second win of the season while the Thrissur side remains winless and rooted to the six-team points table with 2 points from seven rounds.

Score: Thiruvananthapuram Kombans 2 (Autemar 38 (pen), Shihad 90+3) bt Thrissur Magic 0
