Super League Kerala witnessed its biggest scoreline, 4-1, as Calicut FC crushed Thiruvananthapuram Kombans at the Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday.
The win has helped Calicut climb to the second position in the six-team table with 10 points from 6 matches, displacing Forca Kochi (8 points), who have a game in hand. The Kombans remain fourth on 6 points.
Muhammed Riyas and Abdul Hakku scored on 12 and 20 minutes respectively to give Calicut a 2-0 lead.
Though Cardoso Kuhn David reduced the deficit in the first minute of second half, Ernest Barfo made it 3-1 for the visitors a minute later. With Kervens Belfort scoring a fourth in the 58th minute, Calicut celebrated the biggest win of the season.
