Thrissur Magic got their first point in the Super league Kerala after a hard-fought goalless draw with Malappuram FC at the Payyanad Stadium in Manjeri on Friday.

Despite chasing the ball for the most part of the game, Magic took six shots on goal as opposed to just one by Malappuram.

Thrissur survived a series of corners and a freekick in added time. The result was the first goalless draw of SLK this season.

Magic, led by former India international CK Vineeth, had lost their first two matches, 2-0 to Kombans and 2-1 against Kannur Warriors. They remain bottom of the six-team league.
Malappuram remain fourth in the points table with four points from three outings.
