Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Blasters FC have launched the ‘Goal for Wayanad’ campaign to support those affected by the landslides in the district and additionally donated Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF). 

Through the ‘Goal for Wayanad’ campaign, Blasters plan to contribute Rs 1 lakh for every goal scored in the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) Season 11 to the CMDRF as part of the club’s continued efforts to contribute towards disaster relief and rehabilitation. This campaign and donation are in addition to the Rs. 1.25 crore already contributed by the Blasters co-owners.

Blasters chairman Nimmagadda Prasad along with club director Nikhil B Nimmagadda and Blasters Chief Operating Officer Shushen Vashishth met Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and handed over the cheque of Rs 25 lakh. They also presented the CM with a team jersey and extended an invitation for the upcoming ISL season.
