Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez will be part of a star-studded opening ceremony in the inaugural edition of the Super League Kerala (SLK) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Saturday.
Apart from Jacqueline, drummer Sivamani, rapper Fejo, musician Stephen Devassy and rapper Dabzee too will be part of the ceremony slated to begin at 6 pm.
Forca Kochi will take on Malappuram FC in the inaugural match at 7.30 pm.
Tickets can be bought on insider.in and ticket prices range from Rs 99 to Rs 1499.
The four other teams in the fray are Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC, Kannur Warriors FC, Calicut FC, and Thrissur Magic FC.
The first edition of SLK will see 33 matches involving six franchises across four venues in the state. The matches will be played at Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, and Manjeri.
The champions will get a cash prize of Rs 1 crore, while the runners-up will be richer by Rs 50 lakh.
